Embossed material
Pattern, gauge and visible-face requirements help determine the right embossed material for your product.
METALS & INDUSTRIAL MATERIALS
Sheet, coil, strip, bar and profiles—with a team to help you choose.
Tell us what you’re making or share the specification you already use. We’ll talk through the material, check the source and help you work out the details of your order.

ROLLED ALUMINUM

From a flat panel to a coil-fed production run, the material has to work for your process.
We help you choose between sheet, coil and strip, then review the alloy, temper and surface with you. The way you cut, form or finish the material helps us understand what you need.
Alloy and temper combinations depend on the product. We’ll check the combination and availability for your request.
| Product form | Specification details | Additional requirements |
|---|---|---|
SheetFlat material in defined formats for fabrication, panels and components. Sheet inquiry | Alloy and temper; thickness × width × length; dimensional tolerance; sheet count or total weight. | Flatness, surface appearance, grain direction where relevant, film protection or interleaving, and blank sizes. |
CoilContinuous rolled material for coil-fed production and further processing. Coil inquiry | Alloy and temper; thickness and width; quantity; coil inside diameter, outside diameter and individual coil weight. | Winding and packaging orientation, surface oil condition, coating requirements and any limits set by the receiving equipment. |
StripNarrower rolled material for forming, component production and specific-width requirements. Strip inquiry | Alloy and temper; thickness and strip width; width tolerance; quantity; coil or winding requirements. | Edge condition, burr limits where specified, winding direction, and coil dimensions or weight. |
We’ll review the appearance and protection your finished product needs.
Pattern, gauge and visible-face requirements help determine the right embossed material for your product.
Options include 1-bar, 2-bar, 5-bar and diamond patterns. We’ll review the base thickness, overall thickness where relevant, pattern and dimensions.
Coating system, color, gloss and coated faces, matched to your appearance and performance requirements.
Film protection and paper interleaving can help protect the surface through transport, handling and fabrication.
EXTRUDED ALUMINUM

A familiar section or a shape made for your product—we can work through either with you.
Talk to us about standard solid and hollow sections, bar for machining, or profiles made to your drawing. We review the dimensions that matter for fit and function, along with the material and finish.
We’ll confirm the alloy, temper, dimensions and availability for the section you need.
| Product form | Specification details | Additional requirements |
|---|---|---|
Standard shapesAngles, T profiles, round tube, square and rectangular tube, and flat sections. Standard-shape inquiry | Section type; outside dimensions; wall thickness for hollow sections; alloy and temper; cut length and quantity. | Dimensional tolerance, straightness, twist, surface finish, end condition and any fit or assembly requirement. |
Bar for machiningSolid round, square, rectangular and flat bar for parts made from stock material. Machining-bar inquiry | Cross section and dimensions; alloy and temper; length; dimensional tolerance; quantity by piece or weight. | Stress-relief condition if specified, machining allowance, straightness, sawn-end requirements and applicable material standard. |
Custom industrial profilesMachinery and framing sections, conveyor and pneumatic profiles, display and cooling profiles, or a customer-defined geometry. Custom-profile inquiry | PDF, DWG or DXF section drawing; overall dimensions; wall thickness; critical tolerances; alloy and temper; required lengths. | Visible surfaces, finish, mating or functional features, machining operations, batch quantity, estimated annual demand and sample approval requirements. |
CUSTOM PROFILES
We’ll review the dimensions that control fit and function, and discuss any drilling, milling, tapping, boring or precision cutting. If this is a repeat production part, tell us about your order quantities and schedule so we can consider those together.

FINISHES & PREPARATION
If your material needs cutting, finishing or machining, bring that into the conversation. We’ll review the work involved and the supply options with you.
Cut lengths, sheet blanks and strip widths, with the tolerance, edge condition and packaging your process needs.
Color, appearance, visible faces and coating thickness can be reviewed against your finish specification or approved reference.
Painted rolled material or powder-coated profiles, with coating system, color, gloss and coated faces matched to your requirements.
We review machining and extrusion drawings together, including holes, threads, critical tolerances and inspection requirements.
HELP WITH SPECIFICATIONS
A drawing or existing purchase specification helps. If you don’t have one, tell us what you’re making. We’ll work through the remaining details with you, in inches or millimeters.
We’ll discuss the applicable material standard, test or inspection documents, delivery location and timing with you, and help resolve any open specification details.
