Working with us

We'll work through it with you.

Choosing material is one part of a purchase. Understanding the source, agreeing on the details and keeping the order moving matter just as much. That's where our team comes in.

Material selection

Start with the work the material needs to do.

Send us your specification or tell us what you're making. We'll ask about the dimensions, finish and use that matter to your job.

We review the form, alloy, temper, dimensions and finish with you, taking your application or drawing into account. If there are alternatives to consider, we'll explain them and confirm what needs your approval.

Cut sizes, a surface treatment or additional processing may affect the supply proposal. We'll discuss those requirements with the manufacturer or processing source before making a commitment.

A guide to starting the conversation

Source review

We take the source seriously.

We stand behind what we supply. Selecting a manufacturer is part of that responsibility.

We review the source's relevant product capabilities, supported specifications and technical documentation against your requirement. The discussion needs to cover the actual material being proposed, including any processing and finish.

If the job calls for samples, drawing approval or inspection arrangements, we'll work through those needs with you and the source as part of the proposal. Our role is to make sure everyone understands what is being agreed.

Order support

A person to keep you informed.

Your Foundaire contact stays involved. You're welcome to ask questions at any point in the order.

A proposal you can review.

We'll confirm the material, quantity, finish, documentation, price and terms with you. Timing and delivery requirements belong in that discussion, too.

Communication as work progresses.

We coordinate with the source and help address questions that come up. If a change affects the order, we'll explain it and work with you on the next step.

Planning for the next order.

For recurring purchases, we can review quantities, usage and schedules with your team. It helps us understand how the material fits your production or replenishment needs.

After delivery

If there's a concern, call on us.

Our responsibility doesn't end when the material arrives.

If something doesn't match what was agreed, contact your Foundaire representative. We'll review the order, the material and the relevant documentation with you, then work directly with the source to address the concern.

Photos and a description of the issue help us investigate. We'll stay involved and keep you informed as we work toward a resolution.
