Choose material that fits the job.
We’ll review the form, alloy, temper and finish with you. Getting the requirements clear at the start helps avoid preventable rework and replacement.
Our commitment
We’re committed to using materials responsibly and helping customers make informed choices.
For Foundaire, that starts with the decisions behind a material purchase: choosing the right product, understanding its source and taking care of it through delivery. We work with customers and manufacturers to make those decisions thoughtfully.
What this means in practice
Material choices
Our commitment is to bring care to the specification, the quantity and the way the material will be used.
We’ll review the form, alloy, temper and finish with you. Getting the requirements clear at the start helps avoid preventable rework and replacement.
Cut lengths, blank sizes and order quantities affect how much material your process uses. We’ll discuss those needs and review preparation options with the source where they can help.
For recurring requirements, we’ll talk about usage, order sizes and timing. Thoughtful planning can help avoid unnecessary surplus and last-minute changes.
Responsible sourcing
We take responsibility for understanding the material we propose and the source behind it.
We expect clear product information and responsive communication from our sources. When your project has environmental requirements, we’ll bring them into that discussion alongside quality, performance and delivery.
If you need recycled-content or environmental product information, we’ll ask the source for supporting documents and help you understand what they cover. The information needs to relate to the material you’re buying.
How we review sourcesPackaging & delivery
Damaged material can mean wasted metal, additional work and another shipment. Protecting it is part of a responsible supply decision.
We’ll discuss surface protection, packaging and handling needs with you and the source. The aim is to protect the product appropriately while considering how packaging will be handled, reused or recovered at its destination.
Where the order allows, we’ll also explore shipment coordination that avoids unnecessary movements. Your receiving needs, product protection and agreed delivery schedule remain part of that decision.
Aluminum & circularity
Aluminum can be recycled repeatedly, allowing recovered metal to return to use in new products.
Making the most of that potential takes care in how products are specified, used and recovered. We encourage customers to consider those stages when discussing a material requirement.
Recyclability and recycled content describe different things. If recycled content is part of your purchasing requirement, we’ll review it with the source alongside the alloy, temper and performance specification.
